Tombstone R.I.P.: The Mystery of the Gunslinger

Tombstone R.I.P.: The Mystery of the Gunslinger

A group of people are out in the wilderness, exploring a long-abandoned town. They're having a good time until they stumble upon a dusty old tombstone with the name "Gunslinger" engraved on it.

Immediately, everyone is on edge. Gunslinger was a legend in these parts - a gunslinging outlaw who terrorized the town before mysteriously disappearing one day. No one knows what happened to him, but there are all sorts of rumors and theories.

The group debates what to do. Finally, someone comes up with a plan: they'll split up into teams and explore the town to see if they can find any clues about Gunslinger's disappearance.

The teams explore the town for hours, but they come up empty-handed. Finally, as the sun starts to set, they meet back at the tombstone to share what they've found.

Everyone has different stories to tell, but there's one thing that everyone can agree on: Gunslinger was definitely no ordinary man.

Tombstone R.I.P.: The Wild West is Not Dead!

In the 1800s, the American Wild West was a land of opportunity. It was a place where people could start fresh, make their own way in life, and achieve anything they wanted. Legends were born in this time – men like Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and Jesse James. These were men who were not afraid to take on whatever challenges came their way and who lived life on their own terms.

While the Wild West is long gone, its spirit lives on. Indeed, there are still plenty of places in America where you can experience that old-fashioned Western lifestyle. Here are just a few:

  1. Tombstone, Arizona

Tombstone is one of the most famous frontier towns in America – and for good reason! This place is steeped in history and is home to some of the most iconic Western landmarks around. Be sure to visit Boot Hill Cemetery and Boothill Gunslingers Museum while you're here.

Santa Fe is one of America's oldest settlements – and it definitely has a Western vibe about it! This city is full of friendly locals, stunning scenery, and cowboy culture galore. Be sure to explore all that Santa Fe has to offer during your stay here.

How to Play Tombstone R.I.P.: A Guide for the Aspiring Gunslinger

In the wild west, there's one game that is all the rage: Tombstone R.I.P. This quick-draw game can be learned by anyone and provides hours of fun for all. Read on to learn how to play Tombstone R.I.P.

To start, everyone gathers around a table with a playing surface of at least 20" square. Each player then takes four Tombstones (plastic cowboys), two Sheriff Stars, and two Gunslingers. The youngest player starts as the "Clock," and play passes clockwise around the table.

On a player's turn, they draw one card from the deck and take any action indicated on the card. There are six types of cards in the deck:

1) Pick Up: When drawn, this card allows the player to pick up any item on the playing surface, including other players' cowboys. 2) Run: When drawn, this card allows the player to run away from any danger (e.g., another player's cowboy pointing a gun at them). 3) Shoot: When drawn, this card allows the player to shoot another player's cowboy. If the target is hit, they must return one of their Tombstones to their supply and are out of the game unless they have more Tombstones in reserve; if they miss, nothing happens and it becomes that player's turn. 4) Hide: When drawn, this card allows the player to hide behind any object on the playing surface (e.g., a rock or a cactus). 5) Search: When drawn, this card allows the player to search any other player for hidden items (Sheriff Stars or Gunslingers). The player being searched can choose whether to reveal their hidden items or not; if they do not reveal anything, they must give one Sheriff Star to the searcher. 6) Etiquette: This is not an action per se but is instead used to keep track of turns and when players are eliminated from the game.

After drawing a card, players must carry out its instructions immediately unless otherwise specified on another type of card (e.g., Run cards cannot be combined with Pick Up cards). If a player cannot carry out an instruction (e.g., they do not have any Tombstones left), then they are eliminated from the game. The last remaining cowboy is then declared the winner!
